This month, our employee spotlight is on Eimear Larkin, Software Engineer at MDS Global.

What do you enjoy about working at MDS Global?
I really enjoy being able to work on a variety of projects. I’m able to work with a number of different colleagues from across the business, each of whom has vast experience in their departments and are more than willing to share their knowledge and expertise.

How has your career grown since starting at MDS Global?
I started my career at MDS Global as a Jira Administrator. Whilst in that role, I looked after our Jira/Confluence/Fisheye instances and gradually took on more and more responsibilities. As my confidence grew, I began to work on client projects and was promoted to an Associate Software Engineer. Over time, I transitioned into my current role as Software Engineer.

How would you describe MDS Global to a new joiner?
You don’t feel like you are just a number. Everyone will make you feel welcome and will offer help in any way they can.
