Farid Yunus, CEO at redONE
Farid Yunus re-joined redONE as CEO in January 2019. He returned after launching Yoodo, Malaysia's first truly customisable digital mobile service, which is owned and operated by Celcom Axiata. Before creating Yoodo, Farid had been Celcom’s Chief MVNO Officer, in charge of managing Celcom's Mobile Virtual Network Operator partners. Prior to that, Farid was seconded to redONE (formerly known as REDtone Mobile) in 2012 for four years as their Chief Executive Officer.
Before his secondment, Farid was Celcom's Chief Strategy and Business Transformation Officer, responsible for technology and market strategies and business planning. Farid joined Celcom in 2006 following a stint as a wireless industry analyst with the Yankee Group in London, focusing on mobile markets and operators in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Farid has over 20 years' experience in the mobile industry, holds a master's degree from the University of Leeds, and a BSc in Telecommunications from Ohio University.
Steve Bowen, Chief Executive Officer at MDS Global
Steve Bowen is the Chief Executive Officer at MDS Global Ltd. Steve has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience and a demonstrated track record of leading technology companies through growth. He is also a Board Member of Jovoto, a Berlin-based, creative co-creation business.
Prior to MDS Global, Bowen worked primarily in the consulting and outsourcing industries. At Accenture, he spent 10 years working in the technology thought-leadership and retail spaces, while at Xchanging, a Business Process Outsourcing company, he held a number of executive roles.
Bowen's role at MDS Global is to lead the acceleration of innovation supporting Enterprise, MVNO and IoT service providers, specifically addressing the advancements in real-time processing, AI, cloud and network virtualisation.
Tony Bobowicz, VP of Sales at MDS Global
Tony Bobowicz is the VP of Sales at MDS Global Ltd. Tony has over 25 years ofexperience in the telecommunications industry, delivering OSS and BSS IT-based technology solutions. Tony has managed programme delivery and business consulting projects with several Tier-1 CSPs throughout his career, although the majority of his tenure has been in Business Development with a focus on innovation, performance and customer impact.
Whilst having worked for some of the largest OSS and BSS vendors, Tony has also been involved in several successful start-ups, including positions as co-founder and investor.
